Interclass receives loan from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland to further develop their platform. 

Amsterdam-based startup Interclass received a convertible loan of €160.000 from Het Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland for the project: e-learning environment. Interclass will use the money to create an interactive learning platform for high-school students who might benefit from additional support with schoolwork. The solution Interclass provides gives supplementary interactive study material based on new trends like blended learning and gamification. The online platform offers tailored and personalized options.

Yasemin Demirtas, director and co-founder of Interclass: “Our solution is based on results from research that we conducted in 2016-1017 into the online activities of high-school students. We will use the loan from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland to further develop into the market and prove the concept through our users”. 

Wouter Keij, director of Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland: “The solution of Interclass is an addition to the existing educational system and makes use of modern interactive techniques. Our financing hopefully leads to follow-up financing from third parties to have as many students benefit from the Interclass solution”.
