Experiment with CERN technology

Two-day entrepreneurship program for students (MSc/PhD).

In collaboration with CERN, Nikhef and IXA, we are offering students an exclusive opportunity to experiment with cutting edge ICT technologies developed at CERN. The program is designed for MSc and PhD students in exact sciences and business, and encourages participants to think of commercial solutions using CERN technology.

During two days, you’ll be introduced to all the ins and outs of developing a new company, defining a market problem and designing a lean model canvas. CERN experts will provide an insightful technology briefing. Next, you’ll be teamed up so that at the end of two days you’re ready to pitch your business idea to an expert panel!

Don’t miss this opportunity and sign up now (Deadline Oct. 19):

About CERN

At CERN – the European Organization for Nuclear Research – physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe using the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments to study the basic constituents of matter – the fundamental particles. Their studies provide insights into the fundamental laws of nature

Founded in 1954, the CERN laboratory sits astride the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva. It now has 22 member states. Nikhef-CERN Business Incubation Center (BIC) – based at Amsterdam Science Park, was opened to offer financing, business and technical support for entrepreneurs and tech starters.
